Overnight Stay in Interlaken
Interlaken is the gateway town to the Jungfrau region — from here you can easily travel up to Jungfraujoch, known as the “Top of Europe”, home to Europe’s highest railway station at 3,454 m above sea level with epic views of snowy peaks and the Aletsch Glacier

Morning:
In the morning, check out from your Lucerne hotel, have breakfast, and take a scenic train to Interlaken Ost, where you can leave your luggage at the station or your new hotel.
Interlaken town
- Walk along Höheweg between Interlaken Ost and Interlaken West, enjoy views of Jungfrau and Höhematte park.
- Explore Unterseen old town (around Interlaken West) with its quieter streets, church, and riverside walk.
- Option: short walk by the Aare river or up to a nearby viewpoint like Harder Kulm if you haven’t done it on another day.
Late morning – Train to Lauterbrunnen
- Take a direct train from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen (about 20 minutes).
- On arrival, stop at the station area for maps or info if needed.
- Stroll through Lauterbrunnen main street with the classic valley view.
- Walk to Staubbach Falls, go up the path behind the waterfall in season (if open), and take photos of the U‑shaped valley.
Evening: Take a day trip to Lauterbrunnen combines pretty much everything that makes Switzerland special. Marvel at natural spectacles against an alpine backdrop. Stroll through picture-postcard villages.
- Take the train back from Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken Ost.
- Evening in Interlaken for lakeside walk (toward Lake Brienz from Ost or Lake Thun from West), dinner, and shopping.
After breakfast, depart from Interlaken and enjoy a scenic train journey to Zermatt, passing through picturesque Swiss landscapes.
On arrival, explore the charming, car-free mountain village set amidst dramatic alpine surroundings. Proceed for the iconic Matterhorn experience, one of the most photographed peaks in the world. Ascend via cable car or mountain railway (subject to weather) for breathtaking views of the Matterhorn and surrounding glaciers. Spend time enjoying photo stops, panoramic viewpoints, and the high-altitude alpine atmosphere.
Return to Zermatt town and relax after a memorable day in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
Overnight in Zermatt
Morning: Depart from Zermatt to Geneva by Train.
- Travel Duration: 3.5 Hours
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning at your own pace. You may relax at the hotel, take a short walk around the neighbourhood, enjoy a café breakfast, or do some last-minute shopping before departure. This free time allows you to unwind and soak in the surroundings one final time
Take a Train to Geneva as per your Convenience using the Swiss Pass
Enjoy a relaxing leisure day in Geneva, one of Switzerland’s most elegant cities, known for its scenic lake, historic charm, and international heritage. Stroll along Lake Geneva, visit the famous Jet d’Eau fountain, explore the Old Town, and discover landmarks like St. Pierre Cathedral and the Flower Clock. Spend the day at your own pace enjoying shopping, cafes, and beautiful lakeside views.
Explore Geneva till Noon! Later, proceed to the railway station to board your high-speed train to Paris by Evening. Travel comfortably aboard the TGV or EuroCity train, with a journey time of approximately 4 hours, enjoying scenic views of the European countryside along the way.
