Welcome to the Maldives. At Velana International Airport you are greeted personally by the resort's airport representatives and taken to the seaplane VIP lounge for refreshments and complimentary Wi-Fi while you wait for your flight. The seaplane transfer, around 45 minutes, is a highlight in itself: low over the atolls, with reefs and sandbanks laid out below like a map.
On arrival you are welcomed with a traditional Boduberu drum performance, a welcome drink and a cool towel. Check in to your Beach Villa Sunset, with direct beach access and the evening sun on your side of the island. Spend the afternoon on the sand or exploring the resort's facilities, and in the evening enjoy dinner at the resort's beachfront restaurant, with fresh seafood and international dishes.

Schedule

Tips & what to carry
• Seaplanes fly only in daylight. If your international flight lands late, you may need a night near Malé first.
• Seaplanes have strict baggage limits, often around 20 kg checked plus 5 kg hand baggage per person; extra weight is charged.
• Keep sunglasses handy for the flight; the glare off the water is strong.
• Keep swimwear in your hand luggage so you can start relaxing before your bags reach the villa.

Wake up early for the sunrise, then sit down to a generous breakfast before a day on the water. Collect your complimentary snorkelling equipment and swim out to the house reef, where the marine life starts just metres from the beach. Afterwards try the non-motorised water sports, such as kayaking or paddleboarding, gliding over the lagoon at your own pace.
After a leisurely lunch, treat yourselves at the spa with 20% off a treatment, a calm massage with the ocean in view. In the evening the resort sets up a romantic candlelight dinner on the beach for the two of you, with the sound of the waves close by and the sky full of stars.

Overnight: Maldives
After breakfast you check out of your Beach Villa Sunset and move to a Jacuzzi Water Villa over the lagoon, with panoramic ocean views and direct steps down into the water. Spend the day between the private jacuzzi, the sun deck and the turquoise lagoon below.
In the afternoon comes your 15-minute professional photoshoot, a chance to take home proper photographs of the two of you against the island backdrop. As the sun sets, join in the resort's recreational activities, such as beach volleyball or tennis, or take a relaxing stroll along the sandbanks. Dinner tonight is at the resort, with the ocean breeze for company.

Your last morning begins with a floating breakfast served in your Jacuzzi Water Villa, a tray of breakfast dishes drifting on the water beside you. Spend the morning at leisure, with one last swim, a walk along the beach, or a workout at the gym and multi-sports court.
Then it is time to check out and say goodbye to the island. The seaplane carries you back over the atolls to Velana International Airport for your flight home.
