After breakfast from the hotel go for the famous Gondola ride (cable car), Asia's highest and longest cable car. Online booking in advance is recommended. It is a two-stage ropeway, with the first stage transferring visitors from Gulmarg to Kongdoori Station, and the second stage taking skiers to a height of 3,747 meters (12,293 feet).
The Gondola operates from 10 AM to 5 PM, but the timing is highly dependent on the weather at both stages. Return in the afternoon to enjoy a pony ride, walk around the area, or visit Khilanmarg, a nearby picnic spot that is a fragrant valley full of color and charm.
