Wilderness Wonders of Kenya: 5-Day Safari Experience
What's Included for You
Day-by-Day Breakdown
Your safari adventure starts with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the airport at 7:30 AM. From there, you'll begin a scenic drive to Masai Mara, which takes approximately 5 to 6.5 hours. On the way, you’ll make a brief stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Great Rift Valley - a perfect spot to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and take some photos.
You’ll arrive at your lodge or camp in Masai Mara by early afternoon. After check-in, you’ll be served a hot lunch and given some time to rest. Around 3:30 PM, you’ll head out for your first exciting game drive in the park, where you’ll have a chance to spot wildlife like elephants, giraffes, lions, and zebras.
By 5:30 to 6:00 PM, you’ll return to the lodge/camp. The evening is free to relax, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.
Overnight Stay: Masai Mara
Today is dedicated to exploring Masai Mara’s rich wildlife. You have two options for your safari experience:
Option 1: Have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive at around 9:00 AM with packed lunch. Spend the day exploring various parts of the park and return to the lodge by around 6:00 PM.
Option 2: Depart at 6:00 AM for an early morning game drive – the best time to spot predators in action. Afterward, return for breakfast and some rest. Later, leave again with packed lunch for an extended afternoon game drive, returning by evening.
Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Overnight Stay: Masai Mara
After breakfast, check out from the lodge at around 10:00 AM and begin your drive to Lake Nakuru, which takes approximately 5 hours.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner will be served at the lodge.
Optional: You can opt for a short morning game drive in Masai Mara before leaving (additional park fees apply).
Overnight Stay: Nakuru
After breakfast, proceed for a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy packed lunch while exploring the park, which is famous for flamingos, rhinos, and scenic views.
After the game drive, depart for Nairobi at around 2:00 PM. Arrive by approximately 5:30 PM for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
