Day-by-Day Breakdown
Upon pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, begin your scenic journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. En route, enjoy a stop at the breathtaking Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering spectacular panoramic views and an excellent opportunity for photographs.
After a drive of approximately 5 to 6.5 hours, arrive at your lodge or tented camp in Masai Mara. Complete the check-in formalities and enjoy a freshly prepared hot lunch before relaxing. Later in the afternoon, head out on your first exciting game drive through the reserve in search of the Big Five and a variety of other wildlife across the vast African savannah.
After the safari, return to your lodge by early evening to freshen up and enjoy a delicious dinner. Spend the night amidst the tranquil wilderness of Masai Mara.
Note: The final one-hour stretch of the drive to Masai Mara is on a corrugated and bumpy road, which may be uncomfortable for guests with back problems. Travelers seeking a smoother journey may consider flying directly to and from Masai Mara.

Today offers a flexible safari experience that can be planned with your guide. You may choose a full-day game drive after breakfast with a packed lunch, exploring different regions of the reserve until late afternoon.
Alternatively, depart early in the morning for a sunrise game drive, return for breakfast and some relaxation, and then continue with an afternoon game drive, enjoying a picnic lunch inside the reserve.
Whichever option you choose, you'll have excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, predators, plains game, and an abundance of birdlife while taking in the spectacular landscapes of Masai Mara. Return to your lodge by evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a leisurely breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin your return journey to Nairobi, enjoying the scenic countryside along the way. Arrive in the city by late afternoon or early evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
Note: Guests who wish to enjoy an additional morning game drive on the final day may do so by paying the applicable additional park entry fees before departing for Nairobi.
